Twilight Cast pictures

I'm sure you've already heard the news and seen the pictures, but I think it's worth opening up for discussion again. They Cullen Family has been cast, amid many protests. If you hadn't heard, here's the list:

Edward Cullen: Robert Pattinson (that's right, Cedric Diggory--with that eyebrow!)
Carlisle: Peter Facinelli (with creepy bleach blonde hair)
Esme: Elizabeth Reaser (Jane Doe from Grey's Anatomy)
Rosalie: Nikki Reed
Emmet: Kellan Lutz
Jasper: Jackson Rathbone
Alice: Ashley Greene

In other Twilight news, I've made a display, with a little help from some TAG members, of Twilight read-alikes--books that you might enjoy if you liked the Twilight series. Hope you find something interesting!

Tomorrow we'll be playing a karaoke game, so warm up your singing voices!!

See you soon,
Christina

I created these lists through an alchemy involving age of the protagonists, themes, genre, tone, complexity, reader skill/comfortability level, events and topics a student will likely encounter in their studies during the school year, and books they are unlikely to read for school. I also tried to pick materials that published in the last few years or will be published by June 2021. Preference to #ownvoices and marginalized authors.
