Welcome Back!

Hey guys, I hope everyone had a fantastic Spring Break! I spent most of mine here at the library, waiting for you guys to get back so I would have something fun to do on Friday afternoons... :)

This week we're going keep it low key and watch a movie and have some snacks. Any suggestions? More Adventures of Pete and Pete? The rest of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Let me know what you'd like and we can vote on Friday.

We just had a TAG meeting and it went wonderfully, thanks to everyone who filled out my questionnaire! The flyer and submission forms for the Poetry Contest should be going up/out tomorrow, so tell your friends! There will be some awesome prizes!

Okay, we're closing up here at the library so I better wrap this up. I'll leave you with a quote...
"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library." ~Jorge Luis Borges

p.s. Thanks for the comments Chelsea!

See you soon,
Christina

I also tried to pick materials that published in the last few years or will be published by June 2021. Preference to #ownvoices and marginalized authors. Below you'll find links to their lists broken up by grade level. Whether you know an avid reader who always...

Coraline Trailer!

Here's the best trailer for Coraline so far. And it's actually Neil Gaiman's (he wrote the book) favorite! The movie comes out February 6th and I'll definitely be seeing it that weekend, so if you want to see it with me let me know and we can get a group of people to see it together! I know Kathleen and Mallory are already on board! dftba, Sti
