Big Ol' Post

Sorry it's been so long since I posted last! It's been a busy few weeks. Let's see, what have we been up to here at the library? We created some much needed spaced in the YA department! We've played some games--Apples to Apples which is a hilarious game. We worked on our Deconstructive Journals and watched Nanny Mcphee. The TAG kids handed out lots of free goodies at the FIG Festival. All in all, it's been crazy but a lot of fun. If you've never experimented with duct tape and you weren't able to come to our program on Friday, you should really try to make something with this crazy stuff. It can be frustrating (it sticks together! who knew?) until you get the hang of it. But once you do, the possibilities are endless. I was astounded when people created Nintendo DS holders, wallets with pockets, friendship bracelets, outfits for leaves, Wii control holders, coin purses, cases for knitting needles, glasses cases, cell phone holders--the possibilities seemed endless! I only wish I had had enough rolls of duct tape to give to everyone, you all really deserved them!
