 Pick up this craft kit at the drive through window or the Children's Dept. and make your own garland of pie slices! You can use white glue or hot glue if you're careful with it! Make sure you let each step dry completely before moving on to the next!  

Did you miss the craft for 5-7 year olds this week? There are still craft kits left to pick up at the drive through window! You can  make an adorable pug-themed bookmark... cute AND useful, and who doesn’t love pugs? Thanks to Red Ted Art for inspiring this week’s craft and for the attached video tutorial! For older crafters, we're making interactive abstract sculptures! Come pick up this craft through the drive through window starting Friday 9/11.                                                And if you missed last week's painting craft kit, there are still a few left!

Most of the crafts we put out earlier in the week have gone, but don't worry, we have a few more!  If you missed a craft or simply want to do one again, they're available outside the library on our front porch. The last official craft of the summer is a little more time intensive, but the end result is worth it! Come to our drive through and pick up a kit that includes almost everything you'll need to complete the craft: 1/2 cup flour strips of paper recyclable item to use as base bag of things to decorate with

Make this hollow 'book' to hold your secret candy stash, notes, or other mementos! Pick up the kit at the drive through window today (July 22)!

Create a tiny gnome with today's (7/20/2020) craft for 5-7 year olds! Pick up a kit at our drive through window to take gnome-- I mean, home! And don't forget, we have something for the 2-4 year olds too, a really cute popsicle craft that they can use their imagination to decorate.

This week's craft for older kids is ready for pick up at the drive through window.  It takes a little time and patience, but it's worth it for your very own rainbow!

This week's Crafty Kits are ready to be picked up!  The 2-4 Year Old Craft is a Monster Makeover, create your very own monster puppet! 5-7 Year Olds will learn how to make tiny houses using recyclable items from around the house!

Pick up your kit to weave your own bookmark at the drive through on Wednesday 07/08/2020. Have extra yarn lying around? Use your cardboard loom again to weave more bookmarks! And if you like this weaving, you're sure to like the craft that's coming next week!

This week is all about Pokemon! You can pick up templates to make these neat Pokemon evolution flextangles for Evee, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle! Follow the instructions to make them here:

In today's craft kit for older kids, you'll create abstract art based on a fairytale or story you like! You can pick up supplies at the drive through window of the library or at the entrance to the Children's Dept.

Another Monday, another set of crafts for kids!  If you can't get out of the house due to the weather, we'll keep the craft kits out until we run out of them.  Here's the tutorial for the dragon craft for 5-7 year olds.

This week's craft for older kids is designed to help you decide what to do with your day.  Need to figure out which chore you need to do first, or whether to watch a movie or a play a video game? Make a Decision Spinner and let it decide for you! Supplies available while they last at the drive through window and the entrance to the Children's Dept.

Pick up supplies to create a pony or unicorn for the hero you made last week! All you need is a toilet paper or paper towel roll. The tutorial can be found HERE

Create a Hero or Heroine for your theater! Pick up your craft kit at the drive through or at the entrance to the Children's Dept. while supplies last!

On Monday we handed out craft kits for 2-4 and 5-7 year olds. Whether you were able to pick up a craft kit or not, you can still make one at home! Stop by the library Monday for the next craft kit!

Our first Wednesday Craft Kit, which are aimed at older kids, is ready to be picked up at the drive through window or the entrance of the Children’s Dept.  But if you can’t make it into the library, all you really need is 4 pieces of paper, a pair of scissors, pencils/markers/etc., and your imagination.   Let’s make A Home for a Fairytale Character!*   *Or really any character you want!
