While there isn't really ever a lull in library programming, I feel safe in saying that things are just a little more quiet post-holiday season. However, Spring has sprung and that means things are gearing up for summer and much more. But before I get you excited about Summer Reading Club stuff, let's talk end of March, April, and beginning of May! March 31st (Friday) 4:30-5:30pm Video Games in the YA Area- We'll be playing Super Smash Brothers! April 1st (Saturday) Poetry Contest entries are accepted. Turn in your poems to the Children's Desk from April 1-29. The Teen Advisory Group will judge the poems by grade level and winners will be announced on May 4th. An award ceremony will be held on May 12th! Teen Book Con! Held every year, Teen Book Con is a free book convention just for teens. For legal reasons, I can't drive anyone there but I will be there to meet up and guide you around to hear authors talk about their new books and to hold your stuff ...
